Matthew J. Wagner earned his Bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a minor in Anthropology from Brigham Young University in 2001. He earned his law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV in 2005. While in law school, Mr. Wagner served on Law Review and earned the CALI Excellence Award for achievement in Trial Advocacy.
Mr. Wagner also volunteered teaching free legal education classes in landlord-tenant law, for which he was recognized by Nevada Legal Services for outstanding performance. After law school, Mr. Wagner taught an introductory business course at UNLV as a Part-time Instructor from 2006 to 2010. He was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada and the United States District Court for the District of Nevada in 2008. He paractices in the areas of insurance defense, personal injury, family law, business litigation, and general civil litigation.
Mr. Wagner grew up in Las Vegas, has lived in Argentina, and speaks Spanish fluently. Away from the office, Mr. Wagner enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife and daughter.
